Crushed Rock Supplies in Cranbourne

Crushed rock is used primarily under paving and concrete slabs or driveways. It’s used to create a stable, compacted base for your concrete slab. For best results, we recommend laying the crushed rock at a minimum depth of 50mm. Once laid, wet down and use a roller or vibrating plate compactor to pack down hard.

We stock A grade, 20mm road base is a crushed rock gravel that is primarily used as a road base but can be suitable as a base for driveways and pathways. This crushed rock compacts well and can be used as a bed for decorative pebbles and decomposed granites in paths or garden beds.

Our 20mm B Grade is great for a base for concrete paths and driveways including filling potholes. Can also be mixed with blue stone dust for a base under synthetic turfs for small or large turfed areas.

The 20mm pavement base and 20mm recycled concrete provides a firm base underneath concrete or stone paths and driveways. It is not recommended as a topping stone as it contains recycled concrete material and can include sharp or dangerous objects.

Our 5mm crushed bluestone dust is a versatile base for synthetic turfs and pavers. It can also be used as a driveway topping. Bluestone dust is also suitable for horse menage flooring. This crushed rock is comfortable under hoof for horses and the blue/grey colour makes the yard stand out.
