Sand and soil in Clyde
Concrete sand is used in the process of mixing concrete. This fine grain sand can also be used as a base under concrete slabs or pavers. Packing sand is used to provide a stable base under heavy objects such as concrete slabs, water tanks or pavers. Speak to the team at Kennedy’s for advice on using packing sand.
White and yellow brick sand is used for making mortar for brick work. Yellow brick sand is also popular for underneath the lining of swimming pools. Turf sand is great for top dressing grass before reseeding or as a base for laying new turf or lawn.
Our Con sand/Agg mix is a blend of concrete sand and 14mm aggregate mix that is used to make concrete. Just add cement and water, mix and pour for a concrete slab. Our premium potting mix is perfect for all plants, both indoor and outdoor. Long lasting and containing a slow-release fertiliser to ensure your plants have all the nutrients it will need. Our potting mix comes in 35L bags for convenience.
Kennedy’s screened topsoil contains sandy loam soil and is perfect for most lawn and garden applications. Our super blend soil is mixed with organic matter and is suitable for vegetable gardens only. We also have unscreened topsoil which contains soil clumps, organic and inorganic material. Speak to one of our friendly experts to which soil is recommended for your project.
